Not my word count for the day, but reference to some pictures. Weather is very grey today so not great for photos, but here's some shots of Dave and Marge's house where I'm lucky enough to be staying. Yes that large grey mass outside the window is the water. This morning there was a bald headed eagle sitting on the posts where the boat is moored.
Actually, I am getting in the writing groove again, thank goodness. Plans to assassinate the alcoholic sodomite king in a gunpowder plot proceed apace.

PS Sitka's weather webpage http://www.weather.com/weather/local/99835?GO=GO tells me that it's 13 degrees today, that it feels like 13 degrees today and that the sightseeing index is 1 which is 'very poor'. Tomorrow is predicted to be 5 which is 'fair'. I think I will have to develop a plot completion index...

Another year, another adventure! In fact 2! One on the page one off... Wonderful stuff.
I am playing avoidance games too - supposed to be doing a drawing assignment and looking at photos of giraffes and visiting them at the zoo. I need to actually draw them! But I am looking forward to your new book so you need to get back to that assassin assassinating. Looks a fabulous spot! Enjoy.

If a picture paints... as I pictured it your abode in Alaska would be far more humble and set against a slate grey/white bleakish endless steppe ...well you've got yourself a rather On Golden Pond style place v.comfy too...hope you don't get distracted by those dykey olivia cruises coming by regularly and get marooned shipboard with 1000's of women drinking Alaskan beer (am I getting carried away with my own fantasy here?)
Meanwhile in Mullum town I manage to write a thousand words for the Nick Shand...set in 1922 , I spent 2 days in the research library poring over old N stars (very compelling) I made sure my protagonist popped a few of Dr Morses Indian Root Pills.
All the best for your bodice ripper (have you tried poisoning as a disposal method..much the best for the lazy murderer) ..may your words brim and pour in abundant flow.
await the next alaskan insatllemnt
PS Can we send you some proper tea (English Breakfast or the like)?
Please feel free to send a care package of English Breakfast Tea, it would be most gratefully received!
I live in hope that I will manage to find some this week....
